Nelson has spent the last several seasons rising through the ranks of the organization, previously serving as the assistant general manager for the NBA club and the general manager for their G League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats.
A legend in the Philadelphia basketball community, Nelson starred at Saint Joseph’s University before a successful 14-year career in the NBA. Since joining the executive ranks, he has been credited with helping oversee player development and scouting.
