The Utah Jazz are signing forward Blake Hinson to a two-way NBA contract, according to ESPN. The move was confirmed by Hinson's agent, Paolo Zamorano of Gersh Sports, as the Jazz look to add scoring depth to their roster.
Hinson joins the organization following a standout stretch in the NBA G League with the Rip City Remix. During his time in the G League, the forward proved to be a high-level offensive threat, averaging 21.8 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. His performance made him one of the most productive players currently in the developmental circuit.
Under the terms of a two-way agreement, Hinson will be able to split time between the Utah Jazz and their G League affiliate, the Salt Lake City Stars. This contract allows the Jazz to keep Hinson within their system while providing him the opportunity to appear in up to 50 NBA games this season. The addition provides the Jazz with a versatile forward who has shown a consistent ability to rebound and score at a high volume.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
