Undrafted Creighton guard Josh Dix has agreed to a two-way NBA contract with the Oklahoma City Thunder, sources told ESPN on Thursday. The deal ensures the sharpshooter will begin his professional career within the Thunder’s developmental system following the conclusion of the 2026 NBA Draft.
Josh Dix joins an Oklahoma City organization that has a proven track record of utilizing two-way roster spots to find and cultivate rotation players. By signing a two-way deal, Dix will be eligible to spend time with both the NBA parent club and their G League affiliate, the Oklahoma City Blue. Under current NBA rules, two-way players can be active for up to 50 regular-season games with their NBA team and are ineligible for the postseason unless their contract is converted to a standard NBA deal.
During his collegiate career at Creighton, Dix emerged as a key contributor for the Bluejays, known for his efficient perimeter shooting and high basketball IQ. His ability to play multiple positions on the wing and provide defensive versatility likely appealed to the Thunder's front office during the post-draft signing period. The addition of Dix provides the Thunder with further backcourt depth as they continue to build one of the youngest and most talent-rich rosters in the league.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
