The Minnesota Timberwolves have acquired Ayo Dosunmu and Julian Phillips from the Chicago Bulls in a significant multi-player trade, according to Shams Charania.
In exchange for the duo, the Timberwolves are sending rookie guard Rob Dillingham, forward Leonard Miller, and four future second-round draft picks to Chicago. The deal provides Minnesota with established rotation depth, while the Bulls focus on acquiring young talent and draft capital.
Dosunmu has been a consistent contributor for the Bulls, providing reliable perimeter defense and playmaking. He joins a Timberwolves team that has been aggressive in its pursuit of veteran talent to complement its core. Phillips, a 2023 second-round pick, adds further depth to the Minnesota frontcourt.
The Bulls receive Dillingham, who was selected eighth overall in the 2024 NBA Draft. Dillingham was considered one of the most electric scoring prospects in his class. Miller, a second-year forward, and the four second-round picks round out the return for Chicago as they pivot toward a younger roster construction.
