The Washington Wizards have agreed to sign guard/forward Leaky Black to a two-way contract, filling the team's final open roster spot, according to agent Max Wiepking of Gersh Sports in a report to ESPN. The move officially brings Black onto the Wizards NBA roster after he previously spent time with the organization's G League affiliate.
Black, who is in his second professional season, appeared in 26 games as a rookie for the Charlotte Hornets last year before joining the Capital City Go-Go, the Wizards' affiliate team. By signing a two-way deal, Black will be eligible to move between the Wizards and the Go-Go throughout the remainder of the season, providing Washington with additional depth on the wing.
The Wizards had been carrying an open two-way slot, and the addition of Black completes that portion of the roster.
