The world champion Seattle Seahawks have officially found their replacement for Klint Kubiak, hiring Brian Fleury as the team's new offensive coordinator, according to @AdamSchefter.
Fleury makes the move to Seattle after a successful seven-year tenure with the San Francisco 49ers, where he most recently served as the run-game coordinator and tight ends coach. The hire represents a strategic move by head coach Mike Macdonald to maintain continuity in the "Shanahan-style" offensive system that propelled the Seahawks to a 29-13 victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX earlier this month.
The vacancy was created when Kubiak accepted the head coaching position with the Las Vegas Raiders shortly after the Seahawks' championship win.
