The San Francisco 49ers have officially signed running back Sincere McCormick and safety Patrick McMorris to one-year contracts, per @AdamSchefter of ESPN.
Sincere McCormick returns to San Francisco to provide depth in the backfield. The former UTSA star has spent time on the 49ers' roster and practice squad over the past two seasons after initially joining the team as an undrafted free agent. His familiarity with the offensive system makes him a valuable addition as the team continues its offseason program.
Alongside McCormick, the 49ers have reached terms with safety Patrick McMorris. McMorris, a rookie out of California, was selected by San Francisco in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft. The signing of his one-year deal ensures the defensive back is under contract as the team prepares for training camp and competition within the secondary.
These roster moves come as the San Francisco 49ers look to solidify their depth charts on both sides of the ball. Both players are expected to compete for roles during the summer sessions as the team builds toward another championship run.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
