The Chicago Bears have officially reunited Caleb Williams and Rome Odunze, bringing the high-profile "roommates" back together on the same roster, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
The connection between the two stars began during the 2024 pre-draft cycle. Williams, the No. 1 overall pick out of USC, and Odunze, the No. 9 overall selection from the University of Washington, famously shared a residence and trained together for several weeks leading up to the draft. The Chicago Bears secured the pairing by selecting both players in the top ten of the first round.
By bringing both talents to Chicago, the front office has paired their new franchise quarterback with a familiar elite receiving target. Odunze joins a receiving corps that already features veterans DJ Moore and Keenan Allen.
