The Cincinnati Bengals have selected Auburn center Connor Lew with the 128th overall pick in the NFL Draft, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Lew, a standout interior lineman from the SEC, saw his draft stock shift significantly due to a medical setback during his collegiate career. Per @RapSheet, Lew was widely considered a potential late first-round or second-round talent prior to tearing his ACL. The Bengals moved to secure the center in the fourth round, capitalizing on his slide down the draft board.
During his tenure at Auburn, Lew earned a reputation for his high football IQ and technical consistency. Despite the injury history, the Bengals are bringing in a player who was ranked among the top prospects at his position before the ACL tear. He joins a Cincinnati offensive line unit that has been a point of emphasis for the front office in recent seasons.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
