The Buffalo Bills are planning to hire Joe Brady as the team's next head coach, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network and The Insiders.
Brady previously served as the Bills' interim offensive coordinator during the 2023 season. He was elevated to that role following the mid-season dismissal of Ken Dorsey. Under Brady’s direction, the Buffalo offense saw a notable turnaround, helping the team secure the AFC East title and a deep postseason run.
Before his tenure in Buffalo, Joe Brady rose to prominence as the passing game coordinator for the 2019 LSU Tigers national championship team. He also spent time as the offensive coordinator for the Carolina Panthers. His promotion to head coach marks a major leadership change for the franchise as they look to maintain their status as perennial contenders in the AFC.
The team has not yet officially announced the terms of the agreement or the remainder of the coaching staff. Joe Brady will now be tasked with leading Josh Allen and the rest of the Buffalo roster into the upcoming season.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
