The Dallas Cowboys and All-Pro wide receiver CeeDee Lamb have reached an agreement on a massive four-year contract extension worth $136 million, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
The deal includes $100 million in guaranteed money and features a $38 million signing bonus, which represents the largest signing bonus ever awarded to a wide receiver in NFL history. The extension officially ends Lamb's preseason holdout and secures his position as the focal point of the Dallas offense through the 2028 season.
Lamb, 25, is coming off a record-breaking 2023 season in which he led the NFL with 135 receptions, totaling 1,749 yards and 12 touchdowns. His new average annual value of $34 million makes him the second-highest-paid non-quarterback in league history, trailing only Justin Jefferson of the Minnesota Vikings.
The Cowboys have historically been proactive in securing their core stars, and this move ensures their top playmaker remains under contract as the team prepares for the upcoming regular season. Lamb is expected to report to the team facility immediately to begin integration with the active roster.
