This update is a brief. We are expanding coverage with additional context and analysis as more details become available.

Free-agent tight end David Njoku visited with the Baltimore Ravens on Tuesday, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. The visit marks the first reported meeting for the former Cleveland Browns playmaker as he explores his options in free agency.

Njoku, who was selected by the Browns in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft, has spent his entire five-year career in Cleveland. During his time with the franchise, he has recorded 148 receptions for 1,754 yards and 15 touchdowns. In the 2021 season, Njoku appeared in 16 games, totaling 475 receiving yards and four touchdowns.

The move to visit a division rival highlights Njoku's status as one of the more athletic tight ends available on the open market. The Ravens currently feature All-Pro tight end Mark Andrews, but the addition of Njoku would provide quarterback Lamar Jackson with another significant target in the passing game. No contract has been signed at this time.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
