The Carolina Panthers are signing Jacksonville Jaguars Pro Bowl linebacker Devin Lloyd to a three-year contract, according to Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.
The deal is worth a total of $45 million, with $25 million of the contract fully guaranteed. The agreement was finalized by Lloyd's agents, Andre Odom and AJ Stevens.
Devin Lloyd joins the Panthers after a standout tenure in Jacksonville, where he established himself as a premier defensive playmaker. The move provides a significant boost to the Carolina Panthers defense, bringing in a Pro Bowl talent to anchor their linebacker corps under the new three-year agreement.
Lloyd, a former first-round selection, has been a consistent contributor since entering the league, and his arrival in Carolina marks one of the most notable defensive acquisitions of the off-season. The Jacksonville Jaguars will now look to fill the void left by the departing star linebacker.
