The Miami Dolphins have hired former Tennessee Titans General Manager Jon Robinson as the team's new Senior Personnel Executive, according to Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
Robinson joins the Dolphins front office after a lengthy stint as the lead executive for the Titans from 2016 to 2022. During his time in Tennessee, Robinson was responsible for building a roster that secured four consecutive winning seasons and an AFC Championship Game appearance in 2019. He was named the 2019 PFWA Executive of the Year for his efforts in turning the franchise into a perennial contender.
According to the report, Robinson is expected to serve as a key voice for the Miami Dolphins management team, including Assistant General Manager Jon-Eric Sullivan and General Manager Chris Grier. The move comes as Miami looks to add veteran experience to its personnel department ahead of the critical offseason scouting and draft cycle.
Before his tenure in Tennessee, Jon Robinson spent several years in the New England Patriots scouting department and served as the Director of Player Personnel for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
