Veteran wide receiver Dyami Brown is returning to the Washington Commanders on a one-year contract, per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
The deal is reportedly worth up to $3 million, keeping the former third-round pick in Washington for the upcoming season. Brown, who played his collegiate football at North Carolina, has spent his entire professional career with the organization since being drafted in 2021. Known for his vertical speed, Brown has served as a depth piece in the receiving corps and a contributor on special teams units.
Throughout his tenure in Washington, Brown has appeared in 47 games, hauling in 29 receptions for 476 yards and three touchdowns. His return provides the Commanders with veteran continuity as the team transitions under a new coaching staff and offensive system. Brown will look to compete for a larger role in a wide receiver room headlined by Terry McLaurin.
