The Philadelphia Eagles have selected wide receiver Makai Lemon in the NFL Draft, marking the team's fourth major addition to the receiving corps in just over a month, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
The selection of Lemon continues an aggressive overhaul of the position group by the Eagles front office. This spring, Philadelphia has already secured veterans Hollywood Brown, who signed with the team on March 17, and Elijah Moore, who joined the roster on March 24. The team also bolstered the unit by trading for Dontayvion Wicks on April 10.
Per Schefter, the recent influx of talent at the wide receiver position suggests that a potential trade involving All-Pro wideout A.J. Brown remains a strong possibility. Such a move is expected to take place after June 1 for salary cap considerations.
