Grant Calcaterra was originally selected by the Eagles in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Since joining the team, he has served as a primary depth option behind star tight end Dallas Goedert. Over the course of his first two seasons in the league, Calcaterra has appeared in 30 regular-season games, contributing both on offense and as a consistent presence on special teams units.
Statistically, Calcaterra has recorded nine receptions for 120 yards during his tenure with the Eagles. Before entering the NFL, he was a standout performer at both Oklahoma and SMU, known for his reliability as a receiving threat. His return provides the Eagles with continuity at the tight end position alongside Goedert and Albert Okwuegbunam.
