Free agent defensive ends AJ Epenesa and Dante Fowler are visiting potential new teams on Thursday, per @AdamSchefter of ESPN. Epenesa met with the Miami Dolphins, while Fowler visited the Seattle Seahawks as both franchises look to bolster their pass rush units.
AJ Epenesa has spent the first four seasons of his career with the Buffalo Bills after being selected in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He recorded 6.5 sacks in each of the last two seasons, establishing himself as a reliable rotational edge rusher. A potential move to Miami would keep him within the AFC East division.
Dante Fowler, the former No. 3 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, spent the last two seasons with the Dallas Cowboys. During the 2023 campaign, Fowler appeared in 17 games, tallying four sacks and a forced fumble. His visit to the Seattle Seahawks comes as the team looks to refine its defensive front under a new coaching staff.
Both players remain among the notable defensive names available in the current free agency market. There are currently no reports of official signings for either player following these scheduled visits.
