The Atlanta Falcons have officially secured their star wide receiver for the long term, signing Drake London to a massive four-year, $141 million contract extension. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, via London’s agent Andrew Kessler, the deal can reach a maximum value of $150 million through various incentives.
The landmark agreement includes $100 million in total guarantees, catapulting London to the position of the third-highest-paid wide receiver in the NFL. Furthermore, the extension sets a new franchise benchmark, representing the highest average annual value (AAV) for any player in the history of the Atlanta Falcons organization.
Since being selected with the No. 8 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, London has emerged as the primary target in the Falcons passing attack. This extension ensures that the Atlanta offense will feature the standout receiver as a cornerstone piece for years to come as the team looks to compete in the NFC South.
