This update is a brief. We are expanding coverage with additional context and analysis as more details become available.

Free-agent wide receiver Jauan Jennings is scheduled to visit with the Minnesota Vikings tonight and through Wednesday, per Adam Schefter of ESPN. The former San Francisco 49ers wideout is exploring options as he enters the next phase of his professional career.

Jennings has spent the entirety of his NFL career with the 49ers, earning a reputation as a reliable third-down target and a tenacious blocker. During the 2023 regular season, Jennings caught 19 passes for 265 yards and one touchdown. He rose to further prominence during Super Bowl LVIII, where he joined Nick Foles as the only players to both catch and throw a touchdown pass in the championship game.

The Minnesota Vikings are currently looking to solidify their receiving corps behind Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison. The addition of Jennings would provide a physical veteran presence to a room that recently saw the departure of K.J. Osborn. Jennings was originally a seventh-round pick out of Tennessee in 2020 and has become a fan favorite for his competitive style of play.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
