Free-agent quarterback Joe Flacco has agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the Cincinnati Bengals, according to a report from @JLSports3. The veteran signal-caller joins Cincinnati after a resurgent campaign last season that saw him become one of the most productive mid-season additions in recent NFL history.
Joe Flacco, 39, spent the latter portion of the 2023 season with the Cleveland Browns, where he threw for 1,616 yards and 13 touchdowns in just five regular-season starts. His performance earned him the NFL Comeback Player of the Year award and helped propel Cleveland to a postseason berth. By joining the Cincinnati Bengals, Flacco remains in the AFC North, bringing significant veteran experience to a quarterback room led by Joe Burrow.
A former Super Bowl MVP with the Baltimore Ravens, Flacco has passed for over 43,000 yards during his 16-year career. The terms of the one-year agreement have not yet been fully disclosed, but the move solidifies the Bengals' depth at the position as they prepare for the upcoming season. Flacco has now spent time with three of the four teams in the AFC North division.
