Attorneys for Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs released a statement Tuesday following the player's arrest on multiple charges, including domestic abuse and strangulation. Per @RapSheet, legal representatives David Chesnoff and Richard Schonfeld stated that Jacobs "vehemently denies" the allegations brought against him.

Jacobs, 28, was booked into the Brown County Jail on Tuesday morning. According to police records, the charges include battery-domestic abuse, criminal damage to property, disorderly conduct, strangulation and suffocation, and intimidation of a victim. The arrest follows an alleged disturbance that occurred on Saturday, May 23.

The Packers issued a brief statement regarding the situation, noting they are "aware of the matter involving Josh Jacobs" but will withhold further comment due to the ongoing legal nature of the case. Jacobs signed a four-year contract with Green Bay in 2024 and was expected to lead the backfield for the upcoming 2026 season.

"This matter is in the early stages of investigation with important evidence that has not yet been made public," the attorney statement continued. "We ask for fairness and restraint while the judicial process takes its course."

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
