Illinois quarterback Luke Altmyer has met with offensive coordinators and quarterback coaches from eight NFL teams ahead of the upcoming draft, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
While Altmyer has not scheduled official pre-draft visits, his draft stock remains active through direct meetings with several organizations. Per Pelissero, the Cincinnati Bengals, Las Vegas Raiders, Kansas City Chiefs, Jacksonville Jaguars, Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers, Philadelphia Eagles, and Indianapolis Colts have all met with the prospect. These meetings involved key coaching staff, specifically offensive coordinators and quarterback coaches, signaling targeted interest from these franchises.
Considered one of the "cleaner prospects" in this year's class, Altmyer previously received significant exposure to NFL scouts and decision-makers during the Senior Bowl. That event provided him with extra time to interface with teams, which likely accounts for the lack of traditional facility visits. Currently, Altmyer is regarded as a name to watch as a potential Day 3 selection in the NFL Draft.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
