ESPN analyst Mel Kiper Jr. has released his final mock draft ahead of the NFL Draft, officially projecting USC quarterback Caleb Williams as the No. 1 overall pick to the Chicago Bears. According to Kiper's final evaluation, the top of the draft is expected to be dominated by offensive talent, specifically at the quarterback and wide receiver positions.
Following Williams, Kiper projects the Washington Commanders will select LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels at No. 2, with the New England Patriots taking Drake Maye at No. 3. The top five is rounded out by Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. going to the Arizona Cardinals and Notre Dame offensive tackle Joe Alt heading to the Los Angeles Chargers.
The remainder of the top 10 selections in Kiper's final mock include Malik Nabers (Giants) at No. 6, JC Latham (Titans) at No. 7, Rome Odunze (Falcons) at No. 8, Laiatu Latu (Bears) at No. 9, and Brock Bowers (Jets) at No. 10. Notably, Laiatu Latu is the only defensive player included in Kiper's final top 10 projections.
