Former NFL safety and pediatric neurosurgeon Dr. Myron L. Rolle has officially joined the NFL Players Association (NFLPA) in strategic advisory roles, per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
In his new capacity, Dr. Rolle will focus on critical initiatives including player health, brain cognition, and preventive care across the entire player lifecycle. The union announced the appointment on Monday, emphasizing the importance of integrating high-level medical expertise with the lived experience of a former professional athlete.
