Following the conclusion of the NFL Draft, several undrafted free agents have reached agreements with teams across the league to begin their professional careers, per @AdamSchefter. The latest group of signings includes prospects from various collegiate programs joining the Los Angeles Chargers, Washington Commanders, New York Jets, and Baltimore Ravens.
According to reports, the Los Angeles Chargers have agreed to terms with Colorado wide receiver Sincere Brown. In Washington, the Commanders are adding defensive depth to their secondary by signing Michigan State safety Malik Spencer. Both players will look to compete for roles during the upcoming rookie minicamps and offseason programs.
The New York Jets have also made a move to bolster their backfield, signing Wyoming running back Sam Scott. Rounding out this latest wave of reported deals, the Baltimore Ravens are signing UNC Charlotte linebacker Reid Williford. The Ravens have a long-standing reputation for identifying and developing undrafted defensive talent into key roster contributors.
These undrafted free agent (UDFA) signings represent the first step for these players in securing a spot on a 53-man roster or practice squad heading into training camp. Each team continues to fill out their 90-man rosters as the post-draft signing period progresses.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
