Green Bay Packers assistant head coach and special teams coordinator Rich Bisaccia is stepping down from his position, according to reports from Tom Pelissero and Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.
Bisaccia, 65, has been with the Packers since 2022. His departure creates another high-profile vacancy on head coach Matt LaFleur’s staff. The news comes just weeks after the organization hired defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley to lead the defense, leaving LaFleur to search for new leadership across multiple coordinator roles this offseason.
Before joining Green Bay, Bisaccia earned significant praise for his tenure with the Las Vegas Raiders, where he served as interim head coach and led the team to a playoff berth in 2021. He is widely considered one of the most experienced special teams minds in the league, with a coaching career spanning over two decades in the NFL with stops in Tampa Bay, San Diego, and Dallas.
The Packers have yet to announce a replacement or a timeline for the hiring process to fill the special teams coordinator role.
