The Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers have addressed their offensive needs by selecting wide receivers with back-to-back picks in the third round of the NFL Draft, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

At pick No. 83, the Panthers selected Chris Brazzell II out of Tennessee. Brazzell II brings size and SEC experience to a Carolina receiving room that the organization has been looking to bolster throughout the offseason. The move provides another young target for the Panthers offense as they continue to build out their roster.

Immediately following that selection, the Buccaneers used the No. 84 overall pick to draft Ted Hurst from Georgia State. Hurst becomes the latest addition to a Tampa Bay depth chart that remains focused on maintaining high-level production at the perimeter positions within the NFC South.

The consecutive selections of Brazzell II and Hurst represent a significant run on pass-catchers during the middle rounds of the draft. Both players are expected to compete for snaps as they transition to the professional level this summer.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
