The Las Vegas Raiders are scheduled to conduct a second head coaching interview with Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak this weekend, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Kubiak has emerged as a primary candidate for the vacancy created when the Raiders parted ways with Pete Carroll on Jan. 5. The search, led by General Manager John Spytek and minority owner Tom Brady, has narrowed significantly this week after other top targets like Joe Brady and Brian Daboll accepted roles with the Buffalo Bills and Tennessee Titans, respectively.
Because Kubiak is currently preparing for Super Bowl LX with the Seahawks, NFL rules prevent an official hiring announcement until after the championship game. However, league sources indicate that Kubiak and Denver Broncos offensive pass game coordinator Davis Webb remain the finalists for the position.
The new hire will inherit a roster positioned for a major overhaul, with the Raiders widely expected to select Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
