The Las Vegas Raiders are expected to hire Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak as their new offensive coordinator following the conclusion of the Super Bowl, per Ryan McFadden.
Kubiak will join the staff of Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce to oversee the team's offensive direction. The hire comes after a search to find a veteran play-caller capable of maximizing the talent on the Las Vegas roster. Kubiak has spent the current season with the Seahawks, where he has been credited with maintaining a productive offensive output throughout the year.
Prior to his time in Seattle, Kubiak served as the offensive coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings and held a prominent role on the San Francisco 49ers coaching staff under Kyle Shanahan. He is the son of former Super Bowl-winning head coach Gary Kubiak and is widely regarded for his expertise in the West Coast offensive system. This hiring represents a significant piece of the puzzle for Pierce as he builds his first full-time coaching staff in Las Vegas.
