The Las Vegas Raiders have reached an agreement with former Atlanta Falcons special teams coordinator Marquice Williams to join the organization as their senior special teams coach, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
Williams transitions to Las Vegas after a three-year stint leading the special teams unit in Atlanta. During his tenure with the Falcons, Williams was recognized for overseeing a consistent and disciplined group. His addition to the Raiders staff provides a veteran presence under head coach Antonio Pierce as the team continues to finalize its coaching roster for the 2024 season.
Before joining the Falcons in 2021, Williams spent time as an assistant special teams coach for both the Detroit Lions and the Los Angeles Chargers. He also held coaching positions at the collegiate level with South Dakota and Winona State. Williams is widely regarded for his expertise in kick coverage and return game development.
