The Las Vegas Raiders have traded up in the fourth round of the 2026 NFL Draft to select Tennessee cornerback Jermod McCoy, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
McCoy, a 6-foot-1 defender with elite athleticism, was widely considered a potential first-round talent before an injury sidelined him for the entire 2025 season. Despite the medical concerns, league evaluators have described McCoy's 2024 game film as "as good as it gets" for a cornerback prospect. The Raiders moved aggressively at the start of Day 3 to secure the playmaker, who recently impressed scouts with a 4.37-second 40-yard dash at his Pro Day.
The selection adds another high-upside piece to a revamped Raiders secondary that already added standout safety Treydan Stukes earlier in the draft. McCoy's arrival in Las Vegas is viewed as a high-reward move for a franchise looking to secure a cornerstone defender in the middle rounds of the draft.
