Former Missouri State quarterback Jacob Clark is signing with the Las Vegas Raiders, per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. The deal brings the former Bears signal-caller to Las Vegas as an undrafted free agent following the conclusion of the 2024 NFL Draft.
Jacob Clark, a 6-foot-5, 220-pound passer, spent the final two seasons of his collegiate career at Missouri State after transferring from Minnesota. During the 2023 season, Clark started four games for the Bears, throwing for 1,314 yards, 10 touchdowns, and only two interceptions. His season was unfortunately cut short due to injury, but his production when healthy—averaging 328.5 passing yards per game—made him a notable prospect for NFL teams seeking developmental depth at the position.
The signing of Jacob Clark adds a new face to the Raiders quarterback room under head coach Antonio Pierce. Clark will join a group that currently includes Gardner Minshew, Aidan O'Connell, and Anthony Brown as the team begins its offseason workout program. The Raiders did not select a quarterback during the seven rounds of the draft, making the undrafted free agent market their primary method for adding young talent to the position this spring.
Before his stint at Missouri State, Clark appeared in limited action for the Minnesota Golden Gophers. He was a four-star recruit coming out of Rockwall High School in Texas, where he was ranked as one of the top pro-style quarterbacks in the nation. His size and arm strength are expected to be his primary assets as he competes for a roster spot in Las Vegas.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
