Doyle joins the Ravens organization after serving as the offensive coordinator for the Chicago Bears last season. During his tenure in Chicago, Doyle worked under head coach Ben Johnson, who maintained play-calling duties for the team. In Baltimore, Doyle is expected to fully "run the show" and take over the play-calling responsibilities for the Ravens' offense.
Prior to his stint with the Bears, Doyle was a member of Sean Payton’s coaching staff with the Denver Broncos. His hiring marks a significant "youth movement" for the Ravens as they bring in one of the youngest coordinators in the league to lead their offensive unit. Doyle's rapid rise through the NFL coaching ranks has been notable, moving from Payton's staff to a coordinator role in Chicago, and now to a play-calling position in Baltimore.
