The Baltimore Ravens have officially hired former Denver Broncos wide receivers coach Keary Colbert to lead their receiving corps, according to a report from @AdamSchefter.

Keary Colbert makes the move to Baltimore after spending the 2023 season in Denver under head coach Sean Payton. Before his stint in the NFL coaching ranks, Colbert built an impressive resume at the collegiate level, serving as the wide receivers coach for USC and the University of Florida. During his time at USC, he was credited with the development of several high-profile NFL talents, including Drake London, Michael Pittman Jr., and Amon-Ra St. Brown.

A former professional athlete, Keary Colbert played seven seasons in the NFL as a wide receiver. He was originally selected in the second round of the 2004 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers and also spent time with the Denver Broncos, Seattle Seahawks, and Detroit Lions during his playing career.

The addition of Colbert is a significant move for John Harbaugh’s coaching staff as the Ravens look to further evolve their passing game under offensive coordinator Todd Monken. Colbert will be tasked with working closely with a receiving group headlined by Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman as they look to build on their 2023 AFC Championship game appearance.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
