The Las Vegas Raiders announced Tuesday that the Baltimore Ravens have backed out of a trade agreement for star edge rusher Maxx Crosby, according to the team and per @RapSheet.
The blockbuster deal was reportedly set to send Crosby to Baltimore in exchange for two first-round draft picks in 2026 and 2027. The Raiders confirmed the reversal via their official channels, stating that the agreement is no longer in place. The trade could not have become official until the start of the new league year on Wednesday afternoon.
Crosby, 28, recorded 10 sacks, 73 tackles, and two forced fumbles during the 2025 season. He is currently playing under a three-year, $106.5 million extension signed in March 2025 and has spent his entire seven-year career with the Silver and Black, amassing 69.5 career sacks.
The Raiders, who finished the 2025 season with a 3-14 record, currently hold the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. Retaining Crosby keeps the three-time Pro Bowler as the centerpiece of the Las Vegas defense as they head into the new league year.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
