The Baltimore Ravens are signing former Atlanta Falcons center/guard Jovaughn Gwyn to a one-year contract, per @TomPelissero of NFL Network.
Gwyn, a versatile interior lineman, is following offensive line coach Dwayne Ledford to Baltimore. Ledford previously served as the offensive line coach in Atlanta before joining the Ravens staff. This familiarity with Ledford's coaching style and blocking schemes is expected to aid Gwyn's transition into the Ravens system.
Originally a seventh-round pick out of South Carolina in the 2023 NFL Draft, Gwyn spent his rookie campaign with the Falcons. During his time with the Gamecocks, he was highly regarded for his durability and leadership, starting 47 consecutive games and earning Second-team All-SEC honors in 2022. While he appeared in only one game for Atlanta during his rookie season, his ability to provide depth at both center and guard positions makes him a strategic addition for a Ravens front looking to solidify its interior rotation.
The one-year deal allows the Ravens to evaluate Gwyn throughout the offseason and training camp as they finalize their roster for the 2026 season.
