Longtime NFL coach Rich Bisaccia is joining the coaching staff at Clemson University, according to a report from Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. The move represents a major transition for the veteran coach, who has spent the last two decades coaching at the highest level of professional football.
Bisaccia most recently served as the associate head coach and special teams coordinator for the Green Bay Packers. He is widely regarded as one of the most respected special teams minds in the sport. His arrival at Clemson provides head coach Dabo Swinney with a wealth of experience, particularly in phase-three execution and locker room leadership.
The coaching veteran is perhaps best known for his tenure with the Las Vegas Raiders. In 2021, Bisaccia took over as the interim head coach under difficult circumstances and successfully guided the team to a playoff berth. Per @RapSheet, he is now set to "land" at Clemson, though the university has not yet finalized his specific title or responsibilities within the program.
