The New Orleans Saints have reached an agreement with veteran tight end Noah Fant on a two-year contract, according to Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Noah Fant joins the Saints after spending the last two seasons with the Seattle Seahawks. He was a key piece of the 2022 trade that sent Russell Wilson to the Denver Broncos. During the 2023 season, Fant appeared in 17 games, recording 32 receptions for 414 yards. Known for his athleticism and yards-after-catch ability, Fant has been a consistent contributor since entering the league as a first-round pick in 2019.
A product of the University of Iowa, Fant has surpassed 400 receiving yards in each of his five professional seasons. By securing Fant on a multi-year deal, the New Orleans Saints bolster a tight end room that already features Juwan Johnson and the versatile Taysom Hill. The move provides quarterback Derek Carr with another established target in the middle of the field.
