Running back Saquon Barkley has officially signed his contract with the Philadelphia Eagles, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. The signing formalizes the star playmaker's move to Philadelphia following the opening of the NFL's new league year and his agreement during the legal tampering period.
The agreement is a three-year deal worth up to $37.75 million, featuring $26 million in fully guaranteed money at the time of signing. Barkley stays within the NFC East after spending the first six seasons of his career with the New York Giants. During his tenure in New York, the former Penn State standout established himself as one of the league's most dynamic threats, earning two Pro Bowl selections and the 2018 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award.
