Free-agent wide receiver Scotty Miller is visiting the Detroit Lions today, according to @AdamSchefter of ESPN. In addition to his meeting in Detroit, the former Pittsburgh Steelers wideout is currently scheduled to undergo a tryout with the Chicago Bears next week.
Miller, a veteran deep threat, is exploring options within the NFC North as teams look to finalize their rosters ahead of the upcoming season. Known for his elite speed, Miller spent the majority of his career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he earned a Super Bowl ring, before subsequent stints with the Atlanta Falcons and Steelers.
The Lions are currently evaluating talent to bolster their receiving corps following recent roster shifts, while the Bears continue to add veteran competition to their revamped offense. Over his five-year career, Miller has appeared in 67 games, recording 85 receptions for 1,085 yards and six touchdowns.
