The Seattle Seahawks are signing former Green Bay Packers running back Emanuel Wilson to a one-year contract worth up to $2.1 million, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
The agreement, which was finalized by agent Andrew Kessler of Athletes First, brings the productive young runner to Seattle to compete for a role in the backfield. Wilson caught the attention of the league last season with the Packers, producing multiple high-yardage games, including a standout 107-yard performance and another outing where he tallied 82 yards on the ground.
By adding Emanuel Wilson, the Seahawks continue to build out their offensive depth. Wilson's experience and his ability to produce explosive plays make him a notable addition to the Seattle roster as the team looks to solidify its rotation at the running back position. The deal provides Wilson with a fresh opportunity to earn significant touches in the Pacific Northwest after showing flashes of high-end potential in Green Bay.
