The Seattle Seahawks are signing former Kansas State defensive tackle Uso Seumalo, according to a report from Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

The move was confirmed by Seumalo’s representation at NSA Football. The interior lineman joins the Seahawks roster as the team continues to refine its defensive rotation during the offseason program.

Seumalo, a massive presence at 6-foot-3 and 340 pounds, played two seasons at Kansas State after a stint at Garden City Community College. During his time with the Wildcats, he appeared in 25 games and was a contributor to the 2022 Big 12 Championship squad. In the 2023 season, he recorded 18 tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss while serving as a primary run-stuffer in the middle of the defense.

The addition of Seumalo provides Seattle with significant size and depth on the interior defensive line. He will compete for a depth role alongside established veterans like Leonard Williams, Jarran Reed, and Johnathan Hankins as the Seahawks look to improve their run defense under the new coaching staff.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
