The Tennessee Titans are finalizing a deal to hire former New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll as the team's new offensive coordinator, per Adam Schefter of ESPN.
The hiring is currently contingent upon Daboll not being offered the head coaching position with the Las Vegas Raiders. Daboll remains a candidate for the vacancy in Las Vegas, but should that role be filled by another candidate, he is set to join the Titans' staff under their current leadership.
Daboll brings a wealth of experience to Tennessee, having served as the head coach of the Giants since 2022. Prior to his time in New York, he earned significant acclaim as the offensive coordinator for the Buffalo Bills, where he played a pivotal role in the development of Josh Allen and led one of the most productive offenses in the NFL. He has also held coaching positions with the New England Patriots, Miami Dolphins, and Kansas City Chiefs.
The Titans are looking to bolster their coaching staff following a period of transition. If the deal is finalized, Daboll will be tasked with overseeing an offense that features young talent and veteran playmakers. Further details regarding the contract and staff structure are expected once the Raiders coaching search concludes.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
