The Tennessee Titans are signing former Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Joshua Williams to a two-year contract, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
Williams, a former fourth-round pick out of Fayetteville State, joins Tennessee after spending the first three seasons of his career in Kansas City. During his tenure with the Chiefs, the 6-foot-3 cornerback appeared in 47 regular-season games and was a contributor to two Super Bowl-winning rosters. He recorded 66 tackles and two interceptions during his time in the AFC West.
The move continues a busy offseason for the Titans, who have prioritized rebuilding their secondary under the new coaching staff. Williams brings size, length, and championship experience to a defensive backfield that has seen significant turnover this spring. He is expected to compete for a rotational role or a potential starting spot depending on the team's remaining moves in free agency and the upcoming draft.
