The Tennessee Titans have officially signed tight end Kylen Granson to a one-year contract, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. The deal brings the former Indianapolis Colts pass-catcher to Nashville as the Titans continue to bolster their offensive depth ahead of the upcoming season.
Granson, 26, was originally selected by the Colts in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft out of SMU. During his three-year stint in Indianapolis, he appeared in 45 games, tallying 72 receptions for 755 yards and one touchdown. He is coming off a productive 2023 campaign where he posted career-highs in both receptions (30) and receiving yards (368) while serving as a consistent target in the middle of the field.
The addition of Granson provides the Titans with an experienced receiving threat at the tight end position to complement Chigoziem Okonkwo and Josh Whyle. The move marks another step in the team's efforts to provide young quarterback Will Levis with a variety of reliable targets in the passing game under the direction of new head coach Brian Callahan.
