The Minnesota Vikings have parted ways with General Manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah after four seasons, according to a report from Tom Pelissero. The move marks a major leadership change for the franchise as it enters a critical offseason period.
The timing of the departure is particularly striking, as Adofo-Mensah was reportedly on the ground in Mobile, Alabama, earlier this week to evaluate prospects at Senior Bowl practices. Per Tom Pelissero, the executive is now out after leading the Vikings front office since January 2022.
Adofo-Mensah originally joined the organization after serving as the Vice President of Football Operations for the Cleveland Browns. During his four-year tenure in Minnesota, he was instrumental in the hiring of head coach Kevin O'Connell and navigated several high-stakes roster transitions. Prior to his time in Cleveland and Minnesota, he spent several years in the San Francisco 49ers personnel department.
The Vikings have not yet announced a timeline for hiring a successor or named an interim replacement to lead the scouting department through the upcoming NFL Draft process.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
