The Minnesota Vikings are trading edge rusher Jonathan Greenard to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for two third-round draft picks, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
As part of the trade terms, the Vikings will receive the No. 98 overall selection in the current draft and a 2027 third-round pick. In addition to acquiring Greenard, the Eagles will also receive the No. 244 overall pick from Minnesota as part of the swap.
Greenard, a key contributor to the Vikings' defensive front, now heads to Philadelphia as the Eagles continue to bolster their pass-rushing options. The move allows the Vikings to stockpile significant draft assets, including a high third-round pick this year and future capital in 2027. For Philadelphia, the acquisition adds a proven veteran to a defensive unit that has consistently prioritized depth and talent on the edge.
The trade comes as NFL teams finalize their draft boards and roster configurations. Greenard's departure marks a notable shift for the Minnesota Vikings defense, which will now look to its remaining depth and newly acquired draft capital to address the vacancy on the defensive line.
