Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Will Grier is signing with the Carolina Panthers, per @AdamSchefter. The veteran signal-caller returns to the franchise where he originally started his NFL career as a third-round draft pick in 2019.
Will Grier spent time with the Dallas Cowboys and most recently served as a depth option across the league before landing back in Charlotte. His addition provides the Panthers with an experienced arm as they continue to fill out their roster ahead of the upcoming NFL Draft. Grier is set to join a quarterback room that has seen significant movement recently, currently featuring 2023 first-overall pick Bryce Young and the newly acquired Kenny Pickett.
During his first stint with the Carolina Panthers, Grier started two games during his rookie campaign. After several seasons away, he now returns to provide veteran stability to a team focused on developing its young core. The move comes as teams across the league look to solidify their depth charts before entering the final stages of the offseason program.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
