Ertz is currently two months into his rehabilitation process following a torn ACL. According to sources, the veteran pass-catcher is targeting a return to the field in time for the start of the regular season. This update confirms Ertz's intention to continue a career that has already seen him become one of the most productive players at his position in league history.
The veteran tight end currently ranks fifth in career catches and eighth in career receiving yards among all tight ends in NFL history. In 13 games during the 2025 season, Ertz recorded 50 receptions for 504 yards and four touchdowns before the knee injury sidelined him.
